20th Anniversary Open Day
Sunday 9th May 2010
It was a fantastic day, and we were overwhelmed with just how many people came along and enjoyed the day with us. The practice tour(s) was a great success, so much so, we had to introduce a ticket system. We had some fantastic offers available only on that day and people made the most of the 30% discount on flea treatment and worming treatments. The raffle did well, and we raised £158.50; which we have donated to Jospice, a local organisation that cares for the terminally ill in Liverpool.
Mike Storey popped in to say hello and wish us well for the next 20 years!
All in all, the day was a great success, and we would like to say thank you to everyone who attended and also grateful thanks to Debbie from Intervet Schering Plough, Gil & Gemma from Vets Now and Margaret & Michael from Lancashire Hawks & Owls for their support and services on the day.
A big thank-you to Novartis for the loan of their 'doggy car' - it looked great! Also all the jelly worms - I think we all ate the car's weight in jelly worms on the day!
We would also like to thank Stuart from Merial, Sarah from Novartis, Pauline from Petplan and Martin from Animal Healthcare who helped with raffle prize donations and goodies for our goody bags.
